We’re Hiring Experienced Events Managers.
Our Events Managers are primarily responsible for executing multiple events and projects in live and virtual environments. They lead support teams from initial planning to successful completion. Events include conferences, launches, award ceremonies, roadshows, activations, cocktail functions, year-ends, and more.

Non-Negotiables
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in event management, with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-profile projects.
- Strong background in event planning and a solid understanding of project management principles and best practices.
- Budget ownership. You must be able to develop, manage, and reconcile budgets, ensuring financial accountability and on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Capable of balancing innovative thinking with logistics, financial planning, and vendor management.
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills: Able to define clear project milestones and deadlines, coordinating internal teams and external contractors to meet goals and exceed expectations.
- Multitasking across projects: Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously – juggling client requirements, creative and strategic direction, budgets, venue and contractor sourcing, negotiations, and logistics – while upholding Worx Group’s standards and processes.
- Strong digital and tech literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, cloud collaboration platforms, project management software, and emerging tools, including AI applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for seamless collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Client service experience and leadership ability: Demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster strong client relationships.
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Sharp eye for quality control and the ability to uphold high standards consistently.
- Enthusiastic and proactive, capable of working independently but also closely with a fast-paced and collaborative team.
- Flexibility and availability: Willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed. Comfortable in both indoor and outdoor environments, depending on event requirements.
- A driver’s licence and own reliable transport are essential.

Place of work: Our offices are situated in the vibrant Rosebank business hub. This position requires office work with occasional on-site work at venues/studios for site recce’s, set-up days, and event days and does not offer work-from-home/hybrid arrangements.
Office hours: 08:30 – 17:00, Monday – Friday
